Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff, St. Joseph, MI
Occuring each July, this fair displays the work of over 190 artists. Every media, from oil, acrylic, and watercolor, along with jewelry, photography, sculpture, textiles, glass and pottery, can be found at this festival on the bluff overlooking Lake Michigan.
Blossomtime Festival, St. Joseph, MI
The area's largest festival, not to mention Michigan's oldest, salutes the spring blossoms of this fruit-belt region. Week-long festivities, including a carnival, youth parade and 10K run, lead up to a Grand Floral Parade.
Discover Stevensville Days, Stevensville, MI
Held the last full week of July in downtown Stevensville, these four days of family fun include fireworks, dances, parades, arts and crafts, and much more.
Venetian Festival on the St. Joseph River, St. Joseph, MI
The number of people flocking to St. Joseph for this annual "Taste of Michigan's Great Southwest" grows larger each year. In addition to the many food booths, the festival offers sailboat races, nationally recognized entertainment, volleyball tournaments, and a variety of lakeside activities, all culminating in a breathtaking parade of boats decorated with lights.
Berrien County Youth Fair, Berrien Springs, MI
The largest youth fair in the Midwest takes place in mid-August, and is preceded by the Open Horse Show. Fair attractions include food, craft and animal exhibits, tractor pulls, and nationally known entertainment.
Cass County Fair
The Cass County fair comes to Cassopolis mid-July of each year. Free grandstand entertainment features country/western, gospel, oldies, demolition derby, and superstock tractor pulls. Must see events are harness racing, pony, horse and mule pulls, livestock judging and auction, lip sync, talent contest, and entertainment throughout the grounds.
Fun Fest, Dowagiac, MI
In late July, families enjoy sidewalk sales with craft and community booths, daily entertainment, Friday parade, bed and rubber duckie races, games, festival foods, and Ronald McDonald show. Enjoy also a pancake breakfast and Lee Memorial Hospital's Hole-in-One Golf Tournament.
Pork Country Festival, Dowagiac, MI
You'll be putting on your overalls as the Pork Country Festival comes to Victorian Dowagiac in mid-June. The chamber event salutes Cass County as the largest hog-producing county in Michigan, where an estimated 275,000 hogs are produced each year. The attractions include: horse-drawn carriage rides, pancake breakfast, hog roast, farm Olympics, crafts, 4-H games, entertainment, and the market hog weight-guessing and "Kiss a Pig" competitions.
Tri-State Regatta/Harvest Festival, Benton Harbor, MI
Many Benton Harbor residents spend their Labor Day enjoying the Tri-State Regatta/Harvest Festival. Hundreds of colorful sailboats from St. Joseph, Chicago, and Michigan City fill the harbor for this annual sailing race.
